Description

This course is designed for teachers who want to make their classrooms more inclusive, differentiated, and engaging for all learners.

Today’s classrooms are more diverse than ever, so a one-size-fits-all approach no longer works. This Erasmus+ KA1 course equips educators with powerful AI tools and creative teaching methods to support every student, regardless of ability, background, or learning style. Participants will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can support planning, personalization, assessment, and accessibility in practical, ethical, and inclusive ways.

Throughout the course, you will work hands-on with tools like ChatGPT, MagicSchool, Quizizz AI, learning how to adapt lessons and materials to meet diverse needs. You’ll also explore creative, student-centered methods such as  stop-motion animation, Kamishibai theatre, and drama-based techniques that promote inclusion, voice, and active participation.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to confidently design inclusive lesson plans, offer differentiated support, and use AI ethically to foster engagement, creativity, and critical thinking.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Use AI tools to support diverse learners, including gifted and SEN students.
  • Design inclusive, differentiated lesson plans and assessments with AI.
  • Apply ethical and responsible AI practices in the classroom.
  • Facilitate engaging, student-centered learning using digital and drama-based pedagogies.
  • Customize tools like ChatGPT for individual learner profiles.
  • Create collaborative and accessible projects
  • Implement strategies for adaptive feedback, inclusive discussions, and personalized learning paths.

Tentative schedule

Day 1 – Introduction to AI in Inclusive Classrooms

  • Welcome event; presenting participants, their schools, cities, countries
  • Presenting host organization and the city
  • Getting to know each other: Icebreakers
  • Introduction to the course and the schedule

Day 2 – Inclusive Education in the Age of AI

  • Exploring the concept of inclusion and differentiation in today’s classrooms and how AI can support all learners, including those with SEN or giftedness.
  • Hands-on introduction to AI tools: ChatGPT, Perplexity AI to create inclusive lesson topics and respond to diverse learner needs
  • Group discussion: The risks, benefits, and ethical implications of using AI in inclusive settings.

Day 3 – Assistive Technologies & Differentiated Learning

  • Practice designing differentiated instruction using KhanmigoMagicSchool to adjust content by level, pace, and modality.
  • Reflect on accessibility and co-create a classroom scenario to use drama-games

Day 4 – AI for Inclusive Assessment and Feedback

  • AI tools for formative assessments and individualized feedback
  • Creating assessment tasks for a mixed-ability group using AI support
  • Ethical workshop: detecting bias, ensuring data privacy,

Day 5 – Creative and Drama-Based Methods for Inclusion

  • Use AI to create and experience non-digital, creative strategies to engage visual, auditory, and neurodivergent learners.
  • Using drama techniques to foster inclusive communication and empathy

Day 6 – Action Planning, Presentations & Takeaways

  • Teachers finalize and present an AI-enhanced inclusive lesson plan or learning activity, receiving feedback from peers.
  • Develop a personal action plan for implementing inclusive, AI-supported practices in your school.
  • Course closes with certification, resource sharing, and a facilitated networking session to promote future Erasmus+ collaboration.

Day 7 – Reflection, Action Planning, and Certification

  • Presenting apractical action plan for implementing AI and inclusive strategies in their classrooms.
  • Feedback sharing, and networking opportunities to supportongoing collaboration and professional growth
  • Certificate awards

Specifics


Certificate : To obtain the Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course, participants must attend at least 80 % of the classes.
Schedule : During the week, classes take place either in the morning or in the afternoon depending on the trainers’ availability. The final schedule is provided no later than 2 weeks prior to the participants’ arrival. The course provider may make minor last minute changes to the schedule if the situation requires it.
Cultural activities : A guided walking tour is a part of each course. Upon arrival participants receive a brochure with a list of activities and places to see at each course location.
Equipment : Participants may be required to bring their own laptop or a tablet, depending on the course.
Course Fee : For a 7-day course 560 € for tuition and materials, covered with the course fee that participants get with the grant: 80 € per day.
