Languages and CLIL
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is an approach in which students learn a school subject, such as science or history, through a foreign language, building subject knowledge and language skills at the same time. Our language courses for teachers serve two goals: helping language teachers bring fresh, creative methods into their lessons, and helping teachers of any subject build confidence in their own English. In every course, language is learned by using it, through movement, storytelling, drama and collaborative tasks that make practice active and meaningful.
Teachers explore activities that encourage communication and collaboration, gaining practical tips and adaptable lesson ideas they can bring into their classrooms as soon as next Monday.
In our English language courses for teachers, we focus on the key vocabulary and grammar needed to communicate in an international environment. Teachers improve their own English through hands-on activities, real-life scenarios, games and fun role-plays. Learning is active, not passive.
